Eating For Energy
Event Date: Thursday February 6th, 2020

Join integrative Health Coach, Elizabeth Cancade, to explore re-energizing your life with Real Food and hole living. You will learn how to renew your core energy. You will learn how to embrace foods that create energy and crowd out foods that deplete it, along with tips to nourish all areas of your life. Quilting for Beginners
Event Date: Tuesday February 11th, 2020
Do you know how to sew, Own a sewing machine and Want to learn how to quilt? Then the Quilting for Beginners course is for you! Learn how to make a quilt with expert quilter Margaret James. 6 week workshop held February 11 to March 17 at the Elkhorn School from 7-9pm. Casserole Luncheon
Event Date: Friday February 14th, 2020
St Paul's United Church in Virden invite you to a Casserole Luncheon, Friday February 14 from 11:30am to 1:30pm. Salads, Casseroles, Buns, Desserts & Beverages. Cost for Adults $12, Children 6-12 $6.

Stay Safe!
Event Date: Friday February 21st, 2020

The Stay Safe Program teaches applicable and age-appropriate skills, while increasing and reinforcing a youth's capacity to improve their own safety. This program offers a basic first aid and safety skills. Age 9-13 Friday Feb 21 from 9:30 am -3:30 pm. (Register by February 13). Cost is only $50.

Alcohol Ink & Resin
Event Date: Thursday February 27th, 2020

Alcohol Ink and Resin - Kathleen Lagasse of Souris is coming back to share more of her expertise! Learn how to work with alcohol ink and seal it with resin to make coasters or a trivet. Held at the CPR Historic Centre on Thursday February 27 from 7-9pm. Cost: $40 for 2 coasters, $60 for a 12 x 12 trivet or 4 coasters. Ages 18 plus. All Supplies included.

Spring Registration Night
Event Date: Monday March 23rd, 2020

Register the kids for their springtime sport activities, Monday, March 23 at the Tundra Oil and Gas Place, 5-7pm. Baseball, soccer, golf and many more.

Rural Youth Arts Circle
Event Date: Thursday March 26th, 2020
Rural Youth Art Circle - Provides a creative, healing and safe space for children and adolescents aged 8-13. Held Wednesdays starting at 3:30pm in Reston at the RES Centre & in Virden at Arts Mosaic. Cost: $125 All supplies included. Registration for workshops is first come, first served. Payment must be received in full to ensure your participation in a workshop. Free Adult Drop In Sports
Event Date: Friday March 27th, 2020

Come on out and enjoy Free sports activities at the Virden Junior High School. Badminton and Pickleball will be held Thursday nights for 7:30-9:30 pm January 9-March 6. Volleyball will be held Friday nights from 7:30-9:30pm January 10-March 27.

Free Indoor Unstructured Play
Event Date: Saturday March 28th, 2020

Stop in every Saturday morning from January 18 to March 28 and let the kids play at the Mary Montgomery School Gym. No registrations, no charge, just drop in for some free unstructured playtime. The program is recommended for families with children 6 and under. Adult supervision is Mandatory along with clean indoor shoes.

Beginner Embroidery
Event Date: Saturday April 4th, 2020
Learn the basics of hand embroidery in a 3 hour workshop. All supplies included, each participant will take home a completed project (complete with hoop). Beginner Embroidery will be held Sat April 4 at the CPR Historic Centre, 11am or 2:30pm. Cost: $40, all supplies included. Age: 16 plus

Ladies Night Macrame
Event Date: Wednesday April 22nd, 2020
Enjoy some appetizers and learn how to make a macrame plant hanger. All supplies included, just bring yourself and a friend! Join Amanda Blanchette of Free Bird Essentials for this ladies night event in honor of Earth Day! Held Wed April 22 from 7-9pm at CPR Historic Centre. Cost: $45 Ages 18 plus.
